Watching Tom Brokaw Reports: The Greatest Generation
It’s all about the guys that were in World War 2. I kinda regret never talking to my grandpa about his war time. All I know is that he was a cook. It was always hard to picture him as an cook for the navy. I never saw him cook. It was always my grandma that cook and grilled. He just ate. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen his navy photo of his uniform. But the men on this how are so strong and lived through so much. They have a ‘can do’ attitude. They aren’t afraid of hard work. They are slowly disappearing. We need to hear these stories. Or at least I do. They amaze me.
And that means I will hear back from University of Michigan. I really hope I get in. I can get away from here. I need a fresh start. I just feel everyone is fed up with me and only tolerate me because they have to.
You went and got all depressing again! Fucking up Effy’s life and then having her boyfriend beaten to death with a baseball bat by her psychologist! Then to have the series ending soon.. Why do you do this to me!?
Today, I learned that the characters from Spongebob are supposed to represent the seven deadly sins: Patrick for Sloth, Squidward for Wrath, Sandy for Pride, Mr Krabs for Greed, Gary for Gluttony, Plankton for Jealousy, and Spongebob for Lust. Mind blown. MLIA.
eating spaghetti of my grandma’s recipe and wearing my grandpa’s sweatshirt. It used to smell like him. It’s been almost 3 years and the smell is gone by now, but the memories are still as fresh as ever.
I spent about 5 hours yesterday making spaghetti sauce.
It was homemade and my grandma’s recipe. Of course it didn’t taste as good as when she makes it, but it was delicious. Now my house has a tub of spaghetti sauce though because the recipe made enough for like a billion people.
